About the Artist

Rae O’Shea makes her home in Rockport, Massachusetts where the scenery is a constant inspiration. She spends part of each year painting in Wales and other states in the U.S., but the rocky coast of New England is her favorite place to paint.  Fascinated by the changing play of light throughout the day and through the seasons, O'Shea is primarily a plein air painter, relishing the adventure as she captures the spirit of a place.
